Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
- ¼ cup Sriracha
- ½ cup ketchup
- 3 pounds (1,350 g) chicken wings
- 5 minced garlic cloves
- 1 scallion, green parts chopped or thinly sliced
Directions:
- Marinate the wings by combining honey, sesame oil, soy sauce, Sriracha, ketchup and garlic in a large bowl.
- Get out a large freezer bag and set the wings and drummettes inside then pour the mixture in the bowl over it.
- Seal the bag and shake it to coat the chicken. Set it on the counter for 3 hours or overnight, if preferred.
- Once the chicken is about done marinating, set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Put the wings on the baking sheet and put it in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
- The wings are done with they appear a golden brown. Take them out and put them on a plate.
- Top with chopped peanuts and scallions if desired.
